As a linguistics major, and using my training as a librarian and as an administrative
assistant, I have always been interested in language and the art of communication through writing.
With an emphasis on copy editing, I check text for grammar, syntax and spelling to make
the writing understandable and professional.
Using my research
skills, my expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, I enjoy fact-checking and the compilation and organization of information.
I also troubleshoot formatting challenges.
As an editor for the past 24 years, I have experience in editing a wide variety of materials.
